Marine diesel engine nozzles are precision fuel injection components installed on marine main and auxiliary diesel engines. As the terminal component of the engine fuel system, these parts handle fuel atomization and injection into the combustion chamber.
The nozzles atomize pressurized marine fuel and deliver uniform fuel mist into the combustion chamber, to support fuel-air mixing and combustion processes. The components operate under conditions of high temperature, high fuel pressure and frequent vibration during vessel navigation. Properly functioning nozzles help maintain combustion efficiency, reducing incomplete combustion, smoke emission and power drop associated with degraded fuel atomization.
The nozzles are compatible with mainstream marine main engine and auxiliary engine brands. Full model coverage is listed in the tables below.

The supplier also provides a full range of spare parts for marine engine systems, including cylinder liners, pistons, injectors, connecting rods and bearings. Both original parts and OEM replacement options are available for commercial procurement.
Marine diesel nozzles are manufactured from high-temperature and high-pressure resistant alloy steel, produced via integral precision forging and high-density quenching processes. This forming method creates a uniform internal structure, supporting operation under elevated fuel pressure and combustion temperature conditions. Under rated load and heavy fuel operating conditions, the nozzles support over 12,000 hours of continuous operation. The material resists scouring and buildup from high-viscosity marine heavy fuel oil.
All nozzles undergo 5-axis CNC ultra-precision drilling and mirror polishing processes, with micro nozzle hole tolerance controlled within 0.008mm. Injection angle and fuel atomization particle size align with OEM specifications for MAN, Yanmar and Sulzer marine engines. This machining precision reduces uneven fuel injection and droplet coarsening under high-pressure operating conditions.
Core nozzle components receive deep vacuum nitriding and high-temperature surface strengthening treatment. This process forms a dense hard wear-resistant layer on inner holes and injection surfaces, improving resistance to high-temperature oxidation and fuel impurity corrosion. The treatment reduces carbon deposition, blockage and surface abrasion under humid salt fog, temperature fluctuation and acidic fuel impurity conditions.
Every batch of nozzles completes raw material spectrum analysis, high-pressure injection aging test, atomization uniformity detection and airtightness inspection before delivery. Based on 12-month production statistics, the batch qualification rate stabilizes at 99.7%, with field operation failure rate below 0.3%.
Dimensional and atomization parameters align with OEM engine specifications. Factory test reports, atomization parameter sheets and dimensional inspection data are provided with all orders, allowing direct installation without secondary testing at ship maintenance facilities.
Machining precision and performance of the nozzles comply with CCS classification society certification standards. The components are suitable for new vessel engine assembly as well as replacement spare parts for overhaul and routine maintenance of in-service ships.
The nozzles are suited for main engine systems on ocean-going vessels including container ships, oil tankers and bulk carriers. The components support steady engine power output during long-distance voyages, adapting to heavy fuel operation and variable load conditions.
The nozzles also fit auxiliary engine systems and coastal vessel operations, including harbor tugs and offshore platform supply vessels. The design adapts to all-weather heavy-duty operation, supporting consistent performance across varying navigation profiles.
These nozzles are compatible with 8 mainstream main engine brands and 4 auxiliary engine brands, with full model coverage listed in the compatibility tables above. Custom specifications can also be produced based on technical drawings or samples.
All orders include official factory test reports, atomization parameter sheets and dimensional inspection data. CCS certification documentation can be provided upon request, to support vessel classification society audits.
Yes, custom manufacturing is available based on customer-provided samples or technical drawings. Tooling and fixtures can be developed to match non-standard engine specifications or specialized fuel requirements.
Service life is influenced by fuel type, engine load profile and maintenance practices. Heavy fuel operation and high continuous load will affect wear rates, while regular cleaning and inspection can extend service duration.
